As the first manufacturer to launch OLED TV, LG is a WRGB four-color OLED display . In the performance of color and contrast, it once again refreshed consumers' understanding of picture quality. Based on the traditional Red, Green, and Blue-based RGB, LGOLED TVs add white spots, each consisting of four color spots.
Thanks to the addition of white pixels, LG OLED TVs have the ability to express different shades of gray and light and dark. Therefore, the problem of chromatic aberration which cannot be avoided by a television product using only three colors of RGB is effectively solved. We all know that the human eye has three kinds of cones, and all the colors we see come from the combination of three kinds of cells. The four colors of WRGB can bring more combinations than human eye cones, which brings a color gamut beyond the scope of human eye recognition. It is displayed on the screen, which is the more vivid color of LGOLED TV.
