As the first manufacturer to launch OLED TVs, LG's OLED TVs have unique WRGB four-color technology, which once again intuitively refreshes consumers' understanding of picture quality in the performance of color and contrast. On the basis of the traditional RGB based on Red, Green and Blue, LGOLED TVs add white light spots, each pixel is composed of four color light points. And it is this extra white that adds a new dimension to the color of LGOLED TVs, thereby greatly expanding the color gamut that the screen display can achieve.
Due to the addition of white pixels, LG OLED TVs have the ability to express different grayscales and light and dark contrasts. This effectively solves the problem of color aberration that cannot be avoided by TV products that only use RGB three colors. We all know that the human eye has three color cones, and all the colors we see come from the combination of three cell pairs of colors. The four colors of WRGB can bring more combinations than human eye cones, thereby bringing a color gamut beyond the recognition range of the human eye, which is the more brilliant and realistic color of the LGOLED TV.
